JOHN ROBINS

Mr. Robins is a professional geologist with over 30 years of experience as an independent exploration geologist and entrepreneur. Most recently John was the founder and Chairman of Kaminak Gold which was purchased for $520 million by Goldcorp Inc. in 2016.
In 2008, Mr. Robins was recognized for his achievements in mining exploration by the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia with the H.H. "Spud" Huestis Award. This is recognized as one of the highest awards given for mineral exploration in Canada.
Mr. Robins has also been active in starting several successful public exploration and development companies culminating in 2005 with his founding of Discovery Group.
JIM PATERSON

Jim is a principal of Discovery Group and has been actively involved in marketing and corporate development activities for the group companies since 2002. Jim has 22 years of industry experience, including capital raises, acquisitions, joint-ventures, spin-outs, RTOs, and IPOs.
He is the Chairman and CEO of Valore Metals Corporation and was a driving force behind more than $60 million in equity financings for ValOre that lead to multiple discoveries and a 200% increase in mineral resources at ValOre’s Angilak uranium project.
Jim was a long-standing and active director of Kaminak Gold Corp. (acquired by Goldcorp.) and founding director of Northern Empire Resources Corp. (acquired by Coeur Mining). In 2007, Jim founded Corsa Capital Ltd. Corsa’s 2008 IPO lead to a 2010 transaction which created a leading U.S. metallurgical coal producer with a C$250M market capitalization.
ERIC LEMIEUX, MSc, P. GEO

Éric Lemieux, is a professional geologist and mining analyst based in Québec, Canada. He is an independent technical advisor for EBL Consultants Enr. Most recently, Éric was consulting technical advisor with PearTree Securities Inc. of Toronto, a leading provider of flow through share donation financing (FTSDF) services in Canada. Previously he was with Laurentian Bank Securities in Montreal as a sell-side mining analyst. His coverage included gold, base-metal, diamond and uranium exploration and development issuers as well as unconventional shale oil and gas plays in Québec. He also acted as an independent consultant with various clients including the Québec Securities Commission (Autorité des marches financiers), the New Brunswick Securities Commission where he was responsible for applying Regulation NI 43-101. As well, Éric was in the 1990’s a geologist-analyst with the Montreal Exchange and managed previously exploration projects for Cambior, Noranda and SOQUEM. These positions as project geologist permitted to develop a very good knowledge of the planning, execution and management of mineral exploration programs.
Éric holds two master's degrees, one in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines (1997) and in another in Metamorphic-Structural Geology from Laval University in Quebec City (1992) and a B.Sc. in Geology from Laval University (1989).
Dr. ROB CARPENTER

Robert Carpenter is a Professional Geoscientist with over 25 years of technical and executive experience for junior and major mining companies. He was co-founder and President and CEO of Kaminak Gold Corporation from 2005 to 2013 and led the company through the acquisition, discovery and maiden resource of the multi-million ounce Coffee Gold Project, located in the White Gold District, Yukon. The project was subsequently acquired by Goldcorp Inc in 2016.
He has received awards from the Association for Mineral Exploration of British Columbia for excellence in mineral exploration (2013) and social and environmental stewardship (2008).
He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Western Ontario in 2004 where he worked on the newly discovered Meliadine Lake gold deposits that are currently owned by Agnico Eagle. Rob is also a Director of White Gold Corp, listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.
Dr. ANDREW RAMCHARAN

Dr. Ramcharan has over 18 years’ experience in operations, project evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, project finance and investor relations.
During his career, Andrew has worked for a number of well-respected companies including IAMGOLD Corporation, Sprott Resources and Resource Capital Funds.
He holds a B.Eng degree in Mining Engineering, and a Master’s and Ph.D degree in Mining and Minerals Economics. Andrew is a Registered Member of The Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) in USA, Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada and Fellow of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. A graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, University of Leoben, Andrew has also completed Harvard University’s Continuing Education program.
GARRETT AINSWORTH

Garrett Ainsworth is the President, CEO, and Director of MK2 Ventures Ltd. Prior to MK2, Mr. Ainsworth was the Vice President Exploration and Development for NexGen Energy Ltd. from June 2014 to April 2018. He led the technical team with the rapid expansion of NexGen’s Arrow Uranium Deposit, as well as multiple high-grade uranium discoveries on the Rook I property in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. Mr. Ainsworth was co-recipient of the PDAC Bill Dennis Award in March 2018 for the discovery and development of the Arrow Deposit.
Before NexGen, Mr. Ainsworth was co-recipient of the AME BC Colin Spence Award in 2013. This honour was in recognition of his efforts which led to the discovery of the high-grade uranium mineralized system on the Patterson Lake South Project in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan. He was the Project Manager and oversaw the staking of new claims, the discovery of a high-grade boulder field, and drill hole discoveries at the R00E, R390E, and R780E high-grade uranium zones.
Mr. Ainsworth’s academic background includes a Diploma of Technology in Mining and Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Engineering with honours from BCIT, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology with first class honours from Birkbeck, University of London.
